Do you prefer new or overhauled units for your aircraft?
We are a bit biased, only because we offer exceptional quality on our overhauls. Many of our customers prefer our overhauls over factory or new units, stating many times “Your overhaul is just as good as the factory unit.”
New or factory reman units may sometimes be less expensive or claim to be “lightweight replacements”, but many with older aircraft prefer their old units which worked better for their applications. Unfortunately, some do not have a choice but to upgrade due to costs and harder-to-find parts.
There are also some pros to purchasing new or factory remanned units. Some of the benefits of having new units are not having do deal with a core charge. Factory reman and new units can sometimes have up to a 250 hour or a 1 year warranty. At times, we may have a prolonged lead time to build you an overhauled unit when a factory reman or new are readily available. We also pride ourselves in being distributors for many companies offering factory new or remanned units. We offer better, direct support for companies we distribute for.
