The SureFly Ignition Module (SIM) is a solid-state system that replaces one traditional magneto, typically the left or impulse-coupled/starting magneto on most aircraft engines. Available for 4- and 6-cylinder Lycoming and Continental engines, the SIM eliminates magneto maintenance, overhauls, and rebuilds—helping you cut associated costs in half.
Many fixed-wing single-engine aircraft can take advantage of SureFly’s advanced timing feature, improving cruise flight efficiency. Additional aircraft will gain this capability as the FAA expands SureFly’s Airframe STC AML.
Note: SureFly SIMs require a Slick-style ignition harness. If you are replacing a Bendix-style magneto, Aircraft Accessories of Oklahoma can help you source a Slick harness.
